Individual Training Lessons

One-on-one sessions for young players new or just starting out. Experienced athletes will work towards mastering the fundamentals and forming a refined skillset and sense of intuition for gameday. New players will begin by learning the fundamentals and developing useful tools and knowledge for game structure.

Training Lessons


Our one-on-one youth baseball training sessions are designed to cater to young athletes who are new to the game, have limited experience, or are ready to enhance their skills and techniques for optimal performance. Each lesson plan is customized to meet the specific needs of the individual athlete based on their skill level, ensuring a personalized and effective training experience.


Session Overview:

  • Introduction and Warm-Up:

    Engaging warm-up activities to prepare the athlete physically and mentally for the session.

  • Fundamental Skills Development:

    Focus on basic techniques such as throwing, catching, fielding, and hitting.

  • Position-Specific Training:

    Tailored drills to improve skills based on the athlete's position on the field.

  • Strength and Conditioning:

    Age-appropriate exercises to enhance overall physical conditioning and agility.

  • Game Strategy and IQ:

    Discussions on game situations, decision-making, and baseball fundamentals.

  • Cool Down and Reflection:

    Proper cooldown exercises and a brief reflection on the session's progress.


These sessions are ideal for beginner to intermediate level ball players looking to build a strong foundation in baseball skills and knowledge. We are dedicated to helping young athletes reach their full potential and develop a love for the game.

HITTING

• Mechanics of a Proper Swing

Learn the fundamentals of a powerful and accurate swing. We focus on stance, grip, and swing mechanics to ensure a solid foundation.

• Drills and Techniques

Engage in targeted drills like tee drills, soft toss, and live pitching to improve timing, hand-eye coordination, and consistency.

• Common Mistakes and Corrections

Identify and correct common hitting errors to refine your technique and enhance performance.

PITCHING

• Basic Pitching Mechanics

Master the essentials of pitching, including wind-up, balance, stride, arm motion, and follow-through.

• Types of Pitches for Beginners

Start with the basics: learn to throw a four-seam fastball and a change-up with proper technique.

• Drills and Techniques

Develop accuracy and control through balance drills, target practice, and arm care exercises.

FIELDING

• Infield and Outfield Basics

Understand the key differences between infield and outfield play, including stance, footwork, and glove work.

• Proper Fielding Stance and Movement

Adopt the ready position and learn quick, controlled movements to field the ball effectively.
